Quiche Lorraine
- one deep dish pie shell, defrosted. (pet-ritz)
- 4 slices ham (slivered) or 12 bacon strips( crisp/crumbled)
- 2 tbsp chives
- 1 oz. grated romano cheese
- 1/4 lb. shredded swiss
- 3 eggs
- 1+1/2 c. half and half
- salt
- pepper
- cayenne
Instructions: sprinkle ham, chives, cheeses over pastry. beat eggs lightly with half and half. season with salt, pepper, cayenne. pour into pie plate. bake at 375 about 45 minutes until crust is brown, filling is set. you might want to bake it on a cookie sheet just in case it drips. enjoy.
