Oven Swiss Steak

  • Swiss Steak
  • Flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • stewed tomatoes
  • celery
  • carrot
  • onion
  • potatoes
  • worcestershire
  • shredded cheddar

Press flour, salt, pepper into meat.  Brown in frying pan with oil.  Place meat in shallow baking dish.  Add flour to pan drippings.  Add everything except cheese.  Cook, stirring until mixture boils.  Pour over meat.  Cover and bake at 350 degrees 1.5 hours.  Sprinkle cheese over mixture, return to oven to melt.
