A Forcing Pass Auction
I think this is one of the coolest forcing pass auctions ever. Yes, it required a non-club lead lead in order for the final contract to make. It still rocks. Vulnerability is Red on White.

1NT by South was 11-14. 4D was a texas transfer. The lead-directing double by East was thin on AQx (and with another suit he’d probably rather have led), but welcome news to his partner with seven good diamonds, who bid 5D over 4H. My hand in the North of course bid 5H. But when West bid 6D, the North hand can’t take unilateral action and bid 6H. A forcing pass around to partner gets the message across. And South, looking at four nice trumps, nice controls in the black suits, and no wasted values in diamonds, takes the push to 6H. The West hand did not lead a club.
