Enchanted
Enchanted was just plain fun entertainment. I went into it knowing exactly what it was - a fairy tale with a “happily ever after” ending, and that’s exactly what i got. Amy Adams was perfectly innocent and naive as Giselle, and Patrick Dempsey, aka McDreamy, was great as the “real” Prince Charming. Susan Surandon was a great evil stepmother, although unfortunately there wasn’t ENOUGH of her - her role in the movie was very small, and the really evil parts were when she turned into an ugly old hag (who i’m sure was NOT played by Surandon).
I went to see this on Christmas Eve eve with my mom and 11-year old cousin. We had a grand time being girls. I’d recommend it for anyone who wants to have a fantastical/magical afternoon with a good girlfriend.
