Every other year or so you hear about the wild fires out west or in the midwest. And some part of my brain thinks “wow, that sucks” but it has never really seemed REAL. But after reading some accounts of the san diego fires and seeing some pictures, all i can say is… DAMN.
Living in NC, wild fires are just not the types of natural disasters we encounter. We get hurricanes. Sometimes ice. The parts of the country that have to worry about fire don’t have to worry about hurricanes. Which is “worse”? – By water or by fire, a destroyed home is gone, and how it went probably doesn’t matter much.
